The AI makes 3 pictures of your deck on your house, in your board and colour. Each one is labelled as a concept image, and colours are indicative.

Each picture is a concept image, not a plan or a photo. It shows the idea. The AI doesn’t measure, so the deck can come out smaller or larger than you designed it, as in the examples, and the AI can get the spot or the way the boards run wrong or miss small details. Colours on screen are indicative. Check each picture against your plan, and look at a physical sample before you choose a colour.

Deck on my house is $29.95, of which $2.72 is GST. It’s a one-off digital product delivered as a private order link, shown on screen after payment (if email is enabled we also email it to the address you give): nothing is shipped and nothing renews.

Questions about renders
What exactly is an AI render?
An image an AI model makes. Here it is your own deck design, put onto a photo of your own house: your boards, your colour, your layout. It is a concept image to show the idea, not a plan. It can differ from your design in small details, and the AI can misjudge size or placement. The board colour on screen is never an exact match for the real board. Check a physical sample before you buy.
What photo works best?
Stand in the garden and take a photo facing the house, with the back door and the ground where the deck will go both in the shot. You can add it before you pay or on your order page after. We use it to make your pictures, and we take its location data out when it arrives.
Are the pictures live yet?
Yes. Each picture is made by an AI image model from your photo and your design. While we’re pre-launch, checkout may run in test mode, with no real payment taken; the render page says so whenever that’s the case.
How do I get my pictures back later?
Everything lives on your private order page. Your private order link is shown on screen after payment. If email is enabled we also email it to the address you give. There’s no account. Anyone with the link can see the order, so keep it to yourself.
What if something goes wrong?
If a purchase doesn’t work as described, for example pictures that never arrive, email info@compositedecks.com.au and we’ll fix it or refund you. Our products come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and nothing here limits them.
Are the prices on my quote exact?
They’re indicative and dated, taken from each seller’s published prices, with sample data badged until verified lists are loaded. We don’t list the whole market, so other sellers may have different prices. Confirm price and stock with the seller before you buy.
Can I build from the plan?
Every plan is a concept plan, not a construction drawing, whether or not you buy anything. The span tables behind the framing have been checked by a structural engineer, but your plan is still not for construction: have a builder, building surveyor or certifier check it before you build.
