Deck board
140 × 22 mm, grooved both edges · 5.4 m lengths
How this was read

Solid profile. Edge recorded as grooved because the manual installs boards on hidden connector clips that insert into the board edge; no document uses the word grooved.

Edge board
140 × 22 mm, bullnose · 5.4 m lengths
How this was read

Bullnose board used to start/finish the deck; slides into the starter clip. Same 140 x 22 x 5400 mm size as the decking board.

Fascia
140 × 15 mm, no edge profile · 5.4 m lengths
How this was read

Fascia board 140 x 15 x 5400 mm per the technical specification; the catalogue table lists the fascia as 140 x 22 (14.31 kg) while its drawing says 140 x 15 - conflict, 15 mm used. Fascia is face-screwed, 2 screws per joist.

End gap rule
End-to-end butt-joint gap by site temperature at installation and board length (10 / 20 / 30 / 40 deg C): 1 m 1.5 / 1.2 / 0.6 / 0.4 mm; 2 m 3.2 / 2.6 / 1.3 / 0.9; 3 m 4.7 / 3.7 / 1.8 / 1.3; 4 m 6.2 / 5 / 2.5 / 1.6; 5.4 m 9 / 7 / 3.5 / 2.5. Leave 10 mm where a board ends at a wall and at least 5 mm where boards run parallel to a wall; use breaker boards on decks longer than 5.4 m; lay boards on the frame for 48 hours to acclimatise; maximum lengthwise overhang 20 mm.

Facts are taken from the highest-ranked source (certificates and test reports, then install guides and datasheets, then warranties, then web pages); when sources disagree the specification says so, and safety facts take the conservative value. Every plan the designer draws from these figures is a concept plan, not for construction: the span tables behind its framing have been checked by a structural engineer, but a builder, building surveyor or certifier must check the plan before you build.
